The North West Independent Roofing Training Group was formed in November 2002, when recommendations from Construction Skills that the existing Group should become independent were accepted by the members.
The Group’s aim is to encourage member companies to engage in quality training by providing a comprehensive service. The geographical area covered is the whole of the North West, including Cumbria and North Wales.
Based in Preston, Lancs., the Group is managed by a Committee which meets 4 times each year to plan and develop strategies. A Training Officer is available to support and visit members, advise and run Courses and deal with requests. (Please see contact details on "Home" page)
Currently, the Group consists of 52 Full members, 14 Associate and 80 Affiliate members.
