Craft Training

The Roofing Centre situated within Bolton Community College is a state of the art training centre for the modern apprentice. Highly qualified staff deliver a comprehensive programme for the application of slates and tiles on all types of roofing layouts. From the simple mono pitch to complex turrets and eyebrows, the apprentice is shown a wide range of techniques, equiping the student with the necessary skills to survive in a thriving industry. The Centre is part of CoVE.

The following training is available:

Apprentice Frameworks for Roof Slating and Tiling

Level 2 - NVQ 2 + Tech Cert +k/skills + ERR

Level 3 - NVQ 3 + Tech Cert + k/skills + ERR

The College also has a special unit for the delivery of the H & S test on-line; Interested Groups and/or individuals are welcome but MUST book in advance - contact the College on 01204 907395.

Currently, as there is no demand for Roof Sheeting & Cladding Training within the Region, there are no fomral Training Courses.
